Cocktail Talk: A Tribute to a Classic That Never Grows Old
Margaritas and mojitos may be the first cocktails that come to mind as patio-and-rooftop-bar season officially kicks off.
But when you’re looking for something a little slower, a little smoother, a savor-er, consider the Negroni. Best enjoyed lounging on a sun-bathed veranda in a summer linen outfit, fresh off a Vespa ride to the bar, this cocktail has never been more popular.

Combining sweet vermouth, gin, and Campari in equal parts with a twist of orange peel, this hundred-year-old Italian recipe is a refreshing (and deliciously potent!) combination of sweet, bitter, complex and simple at the same time. One could argue whether it is best served shaken or stirred, but our mixologists agree: stirred is the only answer!
Enjoy a Negroni and feel good about it this week by taking in Negroni Week! Bars and restaurants around the world are featuring this sublime aperitivo cocktail as part of the fifth annual Negroni Week, where participants give back to a curated list of charities.
With bars and restaurants everywhere taking their own slant on the Negroni all week, pub crawl comes to mind!
