Zero Waste IlinoisFood For Thought Dining Services is a proud partner of Zero Percent. Together, we are committed to eliminating food waste at all café locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Zero Percent connects FFT cafés with local nonprofits to deliver heathy, nutritious meals to those in need on weekly basis. Since the start of our partnership in March, FFT cafes have supplied over 7,000 meals to those in need.

Food handling is based on local standards and FDA-provided guidelines. In addition, FFT Dining Services is proud to:

  • Facilitate composting and full recycling programs at select locations
  • Operate in 9 LEED certified buildings o Source cage-free eggs at 25% of our cafes, with a commitment to be 100% compliant by the end of 2017.
