#DoRightDoGood: 2018 Volunteer Efforts

Published on November 26th, 2018

As the year winds down, reflection begins. At Food For Thought, we’re reminiscing on the opportunities we’ve had throughout 2018 to #DoRightDoGood in our community.

Support came in many forms. Senior Sales Consultant Anna Ditton played a large role in organizing events. For her, Food For Thought’s #DoRightDoGood philosophy  is not only how we can help others, but also about growing our team’s connection to the communities in which we live and work.

“It gives us a sense of purpose, reminds us of the blessings in our lives and helps to support the communities we live in.”

See some of the highlights of FFT’s 2018 efforts below:

THE POLAR PLUNGE

RANDOM ACTS OF FLOWERS

GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY

BIG TEN 10K

HOT CHOCOLATE 5K

As we enter 2019 FFT’s goal is to continue utilizing these resources and our people to support even more of our communities year round. Anna plans to organize events that specifically help children, starting with a holiday toy drive for distribution at children’s hospitals next month and a coat drive benefiting local organizations.
